Talent Mirror
Employer brand, held up to the light
An AI audit of how employers present themselves to candidates, set against their competitors. Name up to twelve rivals and it reads what each says about itself, what others say about it, and where the two part ways.

The partner already had the hard parts: a proven method, a working prototype and clients waiting to see it. Competitor audits were slow, manual and hard to defend. The product turns the method into something repeatable, with evidence behind every cell.
Tonic, an employer brand agency, brings the market and the method: its twelve-factor framework, the prototype and the client relationships. Merlin turned the prototype into production software and runs it: the app, the AI pipeline, hosting, security and the client deck.
- 0164 commits in nine days, from the partner's prototype to production
- 02The framework stays Tonic's. The software is built and run by Merlin
- 03Five steps for the analyst, seventeen cloud functions behind them
Brief, sources, collection, review, report. The analyst names the competitors. The tool gathers careers pages, job ads and reviews, tags every passage against the framework, and hands back a heatmap where every number can be traced to a quote.

CAPTURED FROM THE PRODUCT · SAMPLE AUDIT, INVENTED EMPLOYERS
Never average claims and reviews
Averaging a company's marketing with its Glassdoor rating means nothing and cannot be defended in a client meeting. The gap between the two is the finding.
Counts, not scores
An early 0 to 5 score was dropped. Every figure a client sees is now a count they could reproduce.
Change measured honestly
Re-runs compare density, not share. A share falls whenever another rises, so comparing shares would invent movement that never happened.
Colour means something
Purple marks what employers claim. Neutral ink marks what others observe. The two never share a mark.
Invented names in examples
Marketing shows made-up employers, because a real name reads as a claim about who has been audited.
